I'm a Bristol-based freelance copywriter and journalist with more than 15 years' experience of writing digital and print copy, news and articles. I studied Journalism at Cardiff University and worked in press offices, digital agencies and PR departments before embarking on my freelance career.
I'm friendly, professional and exacting, and will help you create engaging copy for websites, email newsletters, press releases, and any other marketing materials.
I pick up new technologies quickly, and use a wide variety of software including email newsletter packages and web content management systems.

How I work
To write effective copy I need to thoroughly understand your project and what you are trying to say.
If you haven’t had time to prepare a detailed brief, don’t worry - I can ask all the right questions to help you hone your ideas.
I will take notes, think, and then write a first draft of the copy. I will send you this initial unpolished version to read through and review. Once I've had your feedback I will work on the copy again to produce a revised version. Although two drafts is often enough to achieve the finished copy, this cycle of editing and reviewing can continue until you’re completely happy with the final words.
Most of the time I work from my own office, communicating regularly with my clients via email, phone and Skype.
